On this day in 1920 Union Station opened in St. Paul and it’s come a long way since then. Since shutting down 41 years ago the depot has had a $243 million dollar face-lift. If you haven’t seen the inside of the new depot yet, MPR has a great photo set from inside the new St. Paul Depot.

There are some days when I’m walking through the city and I stop, look around and realize that there is not a single person around me. The streets are completely quiet and I can just stand there to take the city in.
I like those days.

You’re not going to get me mother nature, today is officially spring so I’m putting winter behind me. Just because it’s March doesn’t mean that it’s not going to snow in Minnesota. Since we are getting 3-5 more inches of snow just a week before the official start of spring, I wanted to share two fun snow meme’s today.
